Radiant Light Spiritual Direction
Marilyn Buehler, M.Div. has a Masters of Divinity from the Sancta Sophia Seminary. She honors all spiritual paths as they meet on the mystical level, knowing the exterior differences fade as we learn to live a life guided by higher principles. Her maxim is to bring into daily life the message of love and truth.
In the early 70's, Marilyn began her spiritual exploration through reading the Bhagavad-Gita and practicing meditation. Her inquiry led her to explore Sufism, Vedanta, eastern wisdom, and the mystical traditions.
As a student at Sancta Sophia Seminary, she was introduced to Esoteric Christianity. Touched by the depth of these inner teachings, she is mindful of the truths expressed in all spiritual paths. Her spiritual journey of the Christian faith, led her to the Roman Catholic Church. In 2014, she was confirmed at St. Mary Parish in Sacramento.
Marilyn is an oblate of the Benedictine Camaldolese order and a member of Spiritual Directors International. She has also completed four units of Clinical Pastoral Education. From 2009 through 2012, she was a weekend Chaplain at
Kaiser South Sacramento. Now, as a Ministry Volunteer Member of the National Association of Catholic Chaplains, she volunteers with the Chaplaincy
and Spiritual Care Department at Mercy General Hospital.
Marilyn offers spiritual direction to individuals of any spiritual or religious tradition in Sacramento and by Skype.
